Book Group

Have you ever wished you could talk to someone else about a book you have just read or would like to hear about other books you might like to read?

 Two groups of "bookworms" meet to discuss books we have read. Members choose a book together then either buy, or borrow the book from the library. After reading it, we then meet up and discuss over a drink and nibbles! Readers come from the Netherton area plus Newsome,Armitage Bridge and as far afield as Meltham,New Mill and Lepton! You will be made very welcome!

The afternoon group meets throughout the year for about an hour once a month on a Wednesday in the Jubilee Room at Holy Trinity Church, South Crosland; the evening group meets on one evening each month in a member's house, usually  in the Netherton/South Crosland area. Again,you will be most welcome!
